Casino Logo William Hill is named after its founder, born in Birmingham in 1903. While working in a local factory, he started collecting illegal bets from the locals. In 1929 he moved to London, where he started taking bets at the Greyhound track and went on to open an illegal gambling den in Jermyn Street in 1934.
