Paddy Power Withdrawal Times

Paddy Power Withdrawal Time - Payment Options for 2024

Last Updated: 11 November 2024, Author: AceOdds.com

The Paddy Power withdrawal time can range from instant (Instant Transfer and Play Card) to 24 hours (PayPal, Skrill, Neteller) or 1-5 banking days (Debit, Visa, MasterCard and Bank Transfer).

If you've hit the jackpot with Paddy Power's new customer signup offer or one of their promotions, you'll naturally want to pocket your winnings. As long as your balance isn't entirely composed of Bet Credits, you should have no trouble making a withdrawal.

When you make a deposit, consider which payment method you'll use for withdrawals due to potential limitations and delays. For instance, while using your debit card allows for instant deposits, withdrawals could take up to 5 days to appear in your account.

If you need quick access to your cash, e-wallets are a better choice, with Neteller, PayPal, and Skrill generally processing withdrawals within 4 to 24 hours. Instant Transfer is the only method that allows for immediate withdrawal.

However, be aware of Paddy Power’s closed-loop policy, which requires that you withdraw your winnings using the same method you used for depositing, at least up to the amount of the original deposit.

Visa and Mastercard Debit Card

Funds could hit your account immediately or potentially take up to 5 days. Withdraw as little as 1p and a maximum of £10,000.

Although your money can be in your account at the click of the button, it’s all down to the banks and could take up to 5 business days. However, 2 - 3 days is a more common UK lead time. Once cleared, the transaction will appear on your statement as PP Online.

Visa Fast Funds

Receive your funds in under 2 hours with a compatible Visa card.

Visa debit or pre-paid cards, including linked to Apple Pay, could receive their funds in under 2 hours if they are compatible with Visa Fast Funds.

Cash

Funds on your Play Card and CashCard+ instantly! Withdraw up to £2000 on your Play Card per day. Spend your CashCard+ funds online.

Although listed in Paddy Power’s deposit method as cash, this section refers to the Paddy Power Play and CashCard+ powered by Mastercard. The Play Card functions as a Debit Card, allowing you to withdraw cash from an ATM. The CashCard+ is a prepaid card. Any funds on that card can be used to make purchases but cannot be withdrawn as cash.

PayPal

Withdraw from £1 to £5000 and get your money in 4 - 24 hours.

Although Paddy Power operates a high deposit limit for PayPal, the withdrawal limit is at the lower end of the scale, capped at £5000. Like the other e-wallets, you can expect to receive your money in up to 24 hours. However, unless you make your withdrawal request during a busy time, it’s more likely that you’ll receive your funds in around 4 hours.

Skrill

Money in your account in 4 - 24 hours with a minimum withdrawal amount of £1 and maximum withdrawal of £5000.

If you deposited funds from your Skrill e-wallet, Paddy Power will select that as your withdrawal method. Just make sure you’ve disabled your popup blocker to avoid any issues with being redirected to your Skrill account.

Though usually a speedy withdrawal method, it can take up to 24 hours for funds to be in your account during busier periods.

Neteller

Withdraw a minimum of £1 and have funds in your account within 24 hours. Transaction withdrawal limit of £5000.

As with all payment methods, if you deposited funds via Neteller, Paddy Power will select it as your withdrawal method, to at least the value of the deposit made. You may have to wait up to 24 hours for your funds to clear during busier times.

Bank Transfer

Withdraw a minimum of £10 and a maximum of £10,000 with funds reaching your account in 1 - 5 days.

Though often the preferred method for moving more considerable amounts of money, with Paddy Power, the bank transfer withdrawal limit is set at £10,000. This is the same limit set for Debit Card withdrawals. However, depending on weekends and bank holidays, you’ll be waiting longer for your money, potentially up to 5 days.

As per the closed-loop policy, you may be forced to wait for your money if you made your initial deposit via Bank Transfer. Something to think about when you’re depositing your funds.

Apple Pay

Withdraw as little as 1p.

Your Apple Pay account will be linked to a specific payment card; as such, your money will be transferred back to that card via Apple. Although the Debit Card withdrawal limit is capped at £10,000, as a ‘middle man,' it’s possible that Apple Pay will operate a lower maximum transfer amount.

Rapid Transfer

Money in your account in 2-3 days. Withdraw as little as 1p.

Rapid Transfer gives you the benefit of being able to withdraw as little as 1p if you deposited with this method. Funds are available in 203 working days.

Instant Transfer

Use Instant Transfer to get your money instantly with no limits.

Instant Bank Transfer is a payment method powered by Open Banking. It is more secure than card payment and instantly allows you to withdraw funds directly to your bank account.

For withdrawals, there are no maximum or minimum limits.

MuchBetter

Withdraw as little as 1p in under 24 hours.

If you made a deposit using the MuchBetter app then you can also withdraw to this option in under 24 hours.

How to Withdraw Funds

Head into your My Account section and click on Withdraw Funds.

You’ll be able to see exactly what’s in your account. The total balance will show you how much you have to spend with Paddy Power but not how much you can withdraw.

As you can see, there are two sections; one is a Cash Balance which might be spread across your Main Wallet and your Poker Wallet (if you use this). The other part of your balance comprises any bonuses you’ve accumulated. Although any value here will make up the total balance, it can only be used to place more bets on Paddy Power and cannot be withdrawn.

Once you’ve decided how much you plan to withdraw, click on the Withdraw Funds icon.

Just like when you’re depositing funds into your Paddy Power account, the withdrawal process will default to your registered Debit Card and will also give you the option to apply for the CashCard+.

To withdraw via any other method, click on the Alternative Method icon and select your withdrawal method, keeping the closed-loop policy in mind.

Always Bet Responsibly

If you’ve got winnings in withdrawable cash, you may be tempted to put it back in the pot and place more bets. If you’re going to do this, be sure to look at the promotions Paddy Power is running to make your money go further.

Did you set up a deposit limit when you created your account? If so, you should remember why you chose to set that limit in the first place and question whether you should spend above that limit just because the balance is sitting in your account.

Use Paddy Power’s Budget Calculator to work out your finances to decide if re-betting or withdrawing your balance is the best choice.

Unavailable Withdrawal Methods

Paddy Power has quite an extensive offering of deposit and withdrawal methods, but there are some methods that you cannot use that might be available elsewhere.

  • Paysafecard - Paddy Power offer Paysafecard as a deposit method, but unlike William Hill, you cannot use a Paysafe account to withdraw your winnings. You will instead be prompted to use a bank transfer.
  • Google Pay - Paddy Power accepts Apple Pay for both deposits and withdrawals, but Android users cannot use the equivalent Google Pay.
  • Credit Cards - Since April 2020, Credit Cards have not been available to use on online gambling platforms in the UK due to official regulations. They can be used in countries such as the US or Australia.

Change History

  • 13th September 2022 - Added Instant Bank Transfer as a withdrawal method. Paddy Power sets no maximum, or minimum limits for instant withdrawal with Open Banking and funds transfer instantly, even at weekends.
  • 18th April 2023 - Added MuchBetter as a withdrawal method.
  • 8th April 2024 - Updated help centre link for withdrawals.
