Our Sky Bet Super 6 Research:

Arsenal vs Leicester

A breathless encounter between Manchester City and Arsenal took place last Sunday and one where the Gunners were seconds away from earning all three points. Despite that late setback, their performance showed plenty of promise, especially in attack. Mikel Arteta’s men will be eager to capitalise on their home advantage this Saturday as they play host to Leicester. Defensively, they will want to tighten up after shipping two goals at the Etihad and after putting Bolton to the sword in the League Cup in midweek, they will hope for another routine home win on Saturday.

Leicester remain winless in the Premier League under new manager Steve Cooper, though they have shown resilience by drawing three of their first five matches. Their latest draw was a 1-1 stalemate against Everton, where they showed flashes of improvement. However, they’re struggling to turn those draws into wins and will face a tough test against an in-form Arsenal side. Defensive frailties have been their Achilles heel, and they’ll need to be sharp to withstand the Gunners’ attacking threats. A challenging afternoon awaits at the Emirates, and the search for that first win looks set to continue.

Prediction: Arsenal 2-0 Leicester

Chelsea vs Brighton

Chelsea appear to be settling under Enzo Maresca, unbeaten since the second week of the season. A commanding 3-0 victory over West Ham saw Nicolas Jackson impress with a brace, temporarily pushing Chelsea into the top four. They’ve looked solid and just three points off league leaders Manchester City. Maresca will aim to maintain this momentum against Brighton. With home support, they’ll hope to keep their positive run going.

Brighton, meanwhile, remain unbeaten, having drawn their last three matches. A 2-2 draw with Nottingham Forest showed both resilience and vulnerability, with new manager Fabian Hurzeler adjusting well to Premier League life. The Seagulls have displayed solidity but haven't quite been able to convert draws into wins. However, their away form has been inconsistent recently. We predict Chelsea will narrowly edge them out at Stamford Bridge.

Prediction: Chelsea 2-1 Brighton

Brentford vs West Ham

Brentford started well against Tottenham with an early Bryan Mbuemo volley but ultimately lost 3-1. Despite the defeat, Thomas Frank’s side has shown enough to suggest they’ll secure mid-table safety this season. With Ivan Toney now in Saudi Arabia, they will be missing his presence up front, especially with Yoane Wissa also injured. However, this Brentford side has always excelled as a collective, and they are eager to bounce back and take all three points against West Ham.

West Ham's summer spending has not quite yielded the expected results, with manager Julen Lopetegui struggling to find the right formula. A recent 3-0 home defeat to Chelsea added pressure, marking their third consecutive home loss. Despite this, West Ham have been better on the road (the 5-1 League Cup defeat to Liverpool in midweek notwithstanding) earning four points from their last two away matches in London. Lopetegui needs his new signings to step up soon. A draw seems the likeliest outcome in this London derby.

Prediction: Brentford 1-1 West Ham

Wolves vs Liverpool

Wolves sit bottom of the Premier League after a 3-1 defeat to Aston Villa, while struggling to maintain leads and consistency across 90 minutes. Gary O’Neil’s side have just one point from five matches and appear to lack the quality needed to turn their season around. The sale of key players like Max Kilman and Pedro Neto will not have helped, and replacements have not yet made an impact. Confidence is low within the Wolves squad and will need a significant boost for Liverpool arrive at Molineux on Saturday.

Liverpool arrive in good form after wins in the Champions League and Premier League. A recent 3-0 victory over Bournemouth showed their attacking prowess, with Luis Diaz and Darwin Nunez finding the net. Manager Arne Slot will expect his side to continue their strong start, especially after making light work of West Ham in midweek in the Carabao Cup. At the start of this Premier League weekend, Liverpool are second in the league, just one point behind Manchester City and will be aiming for another victory to keep up the pressure on the defending champions.

Prediction: Wolves 0-2 Liverpool

Ipswich vs Aston Villa

Ipswich are still searching for their first Premier League win but have shown resilience, drawing their last three matches. After a tough start against Liverpool and Manchester City, they have steadied themselves and currently sit 17th. Kieran McKenna’s side have displayed plenty of character, with Sam Morsy’s late equaliser against Southampton showing their fighting spirit and they will need more of that to get a result against Aston Villa when the two teams meet at Portman Road on Sunday.

Aston Villa come into this match in high spirits after their first-ever Champions League win and a strong start to the Premier League season. Unai Emery’s men have been efficient in front of goal, with a recent 3-1 comeback win against Wolves showcasing their quality. With Ollie Watkins and Ezri Konsa in fine form, Villa look set to challenge for a top-six spot at least and they will aim to build on their recent positive momentum with another victory at the start of this new campaign.

Prediction: Ipswich 1-2 Aston Villa

Manchester United vs Tottenham

Manchester United are seeking a return to form after a bore draw with Crystal Palace and then a subsequent stalemate at home to FC Twente in the Europa League. Despite showing glimpses of promise in recent matches, Erik ten Hag’s side has struggled with consistency and just when it looks like they are building any form of momentum, the brakes then quickly applied. They start this weekend in the bottom half of the Premier League table and the Red Devils need to find the ignition spark to their season.

As for opponents Tottenham, they overcame an early scare against Brentford to secure a 3-1 win last Saturday. Ange Postecoglou’s side has shown improvement in the past week, with Dominic Solanke finally opening his account for his new employers. Spurs will look to build on their recent victories and silence critics questioning their consistency and the match against United offers a chance to make a statement. However, with two largely inconsistent teams meeting at Old Trafford, a draw seems the most likely result.

Prediction: Manchester United 1-1 Tottenham

Research Suggestions:

Although the game is open to all Sky Bet customers, it arguably rewards those who put in the time and effort. So do your research by reading through form tables to see the home and away form and goals scored and against.

Also, be sure to check for any critical player injuries. Like with Fantasy Football, you don’t want to put all your hopes on a team winning only to find their best player is out injured.

Sky Super 6 Rules:

Regarding how the Sky Super 6 works, the premise sounds rather simple - predict the correct scores in six selected matches and walk away with £1,000,000 for your troubles. This one is easy to play but incredibly difficult to master.

To make mastering the game a little more difficult, there are no prizes for simply predicting the correct outcome. For example, if Chelsea plays Manchester City and you predict a 1-1 draw, that is the score required to tick off your first winner.

Should the two top-tier rivals play out a 2-2 draw instead, you may have backed the correct outcome, but that is no good in this free football jackpot game.

Final Thoughts:

This game is open to all Sky customers, and not only is it open to all, but it could not be easier to play, although it is incredibly difficult to master. We all know our football, and backing a team to win, lose, or draw is not the most difficult wager.

However, things become much more difficult when you add the correct score. Even though mastering the game may prove difficult, it does nothing to reduce the fun that can be had.

Another point to highlight is that the Sky £2,000,000 jackpot is only available on the season's opening weekend. However, even with the prize pot shrinking the following week, the top prize is still rather substantial.

Of course, that has not stopped a legion of punters from trying their luck each weekend. Although the Sky Super 6 has not been around for long, it has quickly become one of the most popular free games within the football betting industry.

FAQs

Super 6 is a prediction game where you go head-to-head against one of our pundits each round. You'll be entered into a prize draw if you beat their score. You can also compete for other prizes by predicting the correct scores for six football fixtures.

Super 6 uses the same account platform as Sky Bet and ITV7. If you are informed that you already have an account, please log in with your existing account details.

Only one entry per round is allowed per person. If multiple accounts are detected under the same person, all such accounts will be closed, and entries will be disqualified.

The prizes are:

  • Super 6 Jackpot: Predict all six correct scores to win the Jackpot.
  • Top Scorer: Win a guaranteed cash prize each round for topping the leaderboard.
  • Head to Head: Beat the pundit for a chance to win £1,000 in a prize draw.
  • The 100 Club: Predict a score that fewer than 100 players correctly guess and join the exclusive 100 Club, earning special prizes.

Points are awarded as follows:

  • Correct result: 2 points
  • Correct score: 5 points

The Golden Goal predicts when the first goal will be scored across the 6 fixtures. If players have the same number of points, it acts as a tiebreaker. The prediction closest to the actual time will be ranked higher.

Tiebreakers are determined by:

  1. Who predicted the most correct scores?]
  2. If scores are still tied, the Golden Goal prediction is used, with the closest prediction ranked higher.

If a fixture is postponed, abandoned, or incomplete (less than 90 minutes played), it will be considered void.

If fewer than six fixtures are completed, the jackpot will be reduced accordingly. If only three or fewer fixtures are completed, the Jackpot Competition for that round will be void.

Visit the leaderboard and use the filters to see your round, month, or season standings. You can also join or create leagues with friends. Log in and go to the My Account tab to manage your account details.

Yes, the same tiebreakers apply over monthly and season rankings, including multiple rounds. Your Golden Goal predictions from all rounds within the period are collated, with the lowest Golden Goal score ranked higher.

Yes, you can make unlimited changes until the first fixture of the round kicks off. After that, your predictions are locked in.

Finishing top in the Official Club League will win you your club's shirt. If your team makes it to the Championship, League One, or League Two play-off final, you’ll also win tickets to the game.
