Yes, Arsenal have only lost two league games all season - but they've also drawn four, and that isn't championship form. The Gunners are currently nine points off the pace of Liverpool at the top of the table and, in truth, it already feels like Mikel Arteta's men are somewhat out of the race in their title surge. As for Nottingham Forest, even their most ambitious fans couldn't have dreamt they'd be mixing it up in the Champions League race as we prepare to enter December.
Forest have a ruthless, efficient and hard-working squad that will give their all from the first few seconds of the game until the full time whistle blows. As for Arsenal, you have to wonder if they have a fragility problem given how frequently they've let games get away from them this season. You'd like to think they'll be stronger at the Emirates, but in our view, the most likely outcome in this encounter is going to be a 1-1 draw.
Prediction: Arsenal 1-1 Nottingham Forest
While their European exploits have been pretty remarkable up to this point in the campaign, Aston Villa's league form has left a lot to be desired. With just one win in their last five, they've managed to drop down to 9th in the table - although they're still just one point off of 3rd. Crystal Palace, meanwhile, have seen every single ounce of momentum they had evaporate in the first 11 games of the season, leaving them stranded in 18th place.
For Villa, it's about rediscovering their goalscoring touch, which is a quality they've lacked recently with just five goals in their last six in all competitions. The time off would've done them some good, too, given that four losses in ten days probably reminded us all of how congested the schedule really is. As for Palace, they'll feel confident after beating Villa 2-1 in the League Cup three weeks ago - but we don't think they'll be able to repeat that same upset against a side that (should) feel fresh and rejuvenated.
Prediction: Aston Villa 2-1 Crystal Palace
While they may only be 12th in the table, Bournemouth's style of play combined with their never-say-die attitude makes it feel like they're a whole lot higher than that. They are competitive against just about everyone in this league, and it's a testament to what they're building under Andoni Iraola. As for Brighton, Fabian Hürzeler seems to be getting them back to their best as they currently find themselves in 6th place, on the same number of points as 3rd.
For Bournemouth, the problem continues to be consistency. While they've been able to defeat Arsenal and Manchester City in the last month, they've also suffered losses to Brentford and Leicester. It seems as if they play to the level of their competition, whereas Brighton seem to have found more of a rhythm - especially after beating City themselves before the international break. With this one taking place at the Vitality, we tend to think it'll end in an exciting score draw.
Prediction: Bournemouth 1-1 Brighton
Well, it appears as if hell has frozen over, because Manchester City Football Club have somehow lost four games in a row. It's become a pattern in recent years for this team to go on a strange run of poor results, but this is a particularly notable streak. One of those defeats came against Tottenham who, in a very 'Spursy' manner, continue to overcome and defeat the best teams in the league while simultaneously losing to some of the worst.
Tottenham are a bogey team for City and Pep Guardiola but given the fact they're already five points behind Liverpool in the title race, you'd have to think they'll treat this as a cup final. We can see them racing out into a commanding 3-0 lead before the visitors start to mount a comeback, with all sense of structure being thrown out of the window by the 75th minute. Ultimately, however, we do back City to get back to winning ways.
Prediction: Manchester City 4-2 Tottenham
This Southampton side simply was not ready for promotion back to the Premier League and that's becoming more evident with each and every passing week. They have potential, but that isn't going to help you survive at this level for very long. As for Liverpool, Arne Slot has picked up right where Jurgen Klopp left off at Anfield - and some would argue he's made significant improvements, which is crazy given how worried some people were about the switch.
The good news for Southampton is that even in recent losses to Manchester City and Arsenal, they weren't blown out of the water. Plus, Liverpool also have upcoming games against Real Madrid and City to consider that come hot on the heels of their trip to the south coast. We expect to see the Saints put up a good account of themselves here and although they may not come away with any points, they'll certainly make the Reds sweat.
Prediction: Southampton 0-1 Liverpool
After picking up their first league win of the season against Tottenham, it feels like Ipswich are really starting to settle back into life in the Premier League. They have a die-by-the-sword kind of system and against most teams in the top flight, they can hold their own. As for Manchester United, this will mark the first game of the Ruben Amorim era - and while it's very, very early days, there seems to be a lot of excitement in the air.
The problem for the Tractor Boys has been their inability to keep a clean sheet and, unfortunately, United have been looking far more confident in front of goal since Erik ten Hag's departure. They've scored 11 goals in four games under Ruud van Nistelrooy and although there's still plenty of work to be done on fixing the foundations at the club, there's no denying that they are heading in the right direction - which is why we're picking them to overcome what could be a tough challenge here.
Prediction: Ipswich 0-2 Manchester United

Although the game is open to all Sky Bet customers, it arguably rewards those who put in the time and effort. So do your research by reading through form tables to see the home and away form and goals scored and against.
Also, be sure to check for any critical player injuries. Like with Fantasy Football, you don’t want to put all your hopes on a team winning only to find their best player is out injured.

Step 1: First, log into or create a Sky account.
Step 2: Once either of these steps is completed, navigate to the ‘Sky Super 6’ page under the Sports or Promotions tab. It can also be found by clicking Soccer and then clicking on the same ‘Sky Super 6’ page.
Step 3: Next, predict the scores for the six nominated fixtures.
Regarding how the Sky Super 6 works, the premise sounds rather simple - predict the correct scores in six selected matches and walk away with £1,000,000 for your troubles. This one is easy to play but incredibly difficult to master.
To make mastering the game a little more difficult, there are no prizes for simply predicting the correct outcome. For example, if Chelsea plays Manchester City and you predict a 1-1 draw, that is the score required to tick off your first winner.
Should the two top-tier rivals play out a 2-2 draw instead, you may have backed the correct outcome, but that is no good in this free football jackpot game.
This game is open to all Sky customers, and not only is it open to all, but it could not be easier to play, although it is incredibly difficult to master. We all know our football, and backing a team to win, lose, or draw is not the most difficult wager.
However, things become much more difficult when you add the correct score. Even though mastering the game may prove difficult, it does nothing to reduce the fun that can be had.
Another point to highlight is that the Sky £2,000,000 jackpot is only available on the season's opening weekend. However, even with the prize pot shrinking the following week, the top prize is still rather substantial.
Of course, that has not stopped a legion of punters from trying their luck each weekend - and long may it continue.

Tiebreakers are determined by:
If a fixture is postponed, abandoned, or incomplete (less than 90 minutes played), it will be considered void.
If fewer than six fixtures are completed, the jackpot will be reduced accordingly. If only three or fewer fixtures are completed, the Jackpot Competition for that round will be void.
