AceOdds have delved extensively into the archives of the FIA disciplinary records to uncover which Formula 1 drivers have earned the most finger-wagging from officials for this season's pre-summer break.
Infringements were counted and separated into 4 possible consequences: a loss of seconds, a loss of grid positions, acquiring of penalty points and fines received.
Nico Hulkenberg has seen the most fines of any driver so far totalling €10,000. His fines were due to improper parts/maintenance in the Hungarian Grand Prix (€5,000) followed by unsafe driving in the Austrian Grand Prix (€5,000). Hulkenberg also faced a total of ten different infringements with Yuki Tsunoda close behind with nine.
Tsunoda, unlike Nico, had many smaller fines totalling €6,300. Yuki faced three €100 fines for pit lane speeding, twice in Belgium and once in Canada, as well as a €5,000 fine for improper part/maintenance in Azerbaijan.
Following in third place for the most fined driver in 2023 so far is Logan Sargeant seeing a €100 and €200 fines for pit lane speeding in Monaco and a €5,000 fine for improper parts/maintenance in Canada totalling €5,300.

The MoneyGram Haas F1 Team saw the most fines to their name (in large part thanks to Nico Hulkenberg…) costing a total of €15,000. Scuderia Alpha Tauri comes in second with €11,300, seeing Nyck de Vries contribute €5,000 for unsafe driving in the British Grand Prix.
Followed by Williams with €11,300, seeing Albon fined €5,000 for improper parts/maintenance in Canada.
Meanwhile, The Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team saw the highest single fine of any team (€10,000), thanks to an appearance of their driver physiotherapists/assistants in Parc Ferme during the Spanish Grand Prix.
